As a Reagents Operator (Job Code 2022-016), reporting to the Mill Supervisor, you be responsible for the day to day mixing of reagents, the OSA sampling management and support to the comminution and flotation circuits.

Your work will include:

  • Operate forklift or other equipment
  • Operator required to take the MSDS training and pass
  • Responsible for the day to day mixing and transfer of all reagents required for the plant operation
  • Take process samples as determined by the Mill Supervisor
  • Ensure that the on-stream analyzer sample cutters and lines are clear at all times
  • General good housekeeping practices in the work area and Mill
  • Conduct all activities safely and following all Copper Mountain safety requirements and SOPs
  • All operators will be required to assist in any operational issues, relines and support Maintenance on
    shut down days
  • Other duties as assigned

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? (Qualifications)

  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The Reagent Operator must be qualified on the mill overhead crane, 930 loader & skid steer
  • Self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Previous experience working in Reagents.
  • Must be clean shaven
  • Possess valid driver’s license
