KF is excited to introduce this new entry-level role to support its passenger to freighter conversion program for customers like Boeing and AEI. This is an exciting opportunity to get a feel for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) trade and is ideally suited for anyone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys teamwork and has strong communication skills. It’s your chance to be a part of the craft and launch a rewarding career with KF Aerospace.
This role includes a 3-month paid training module completed on-site at KF Aerospace in Kelowna, BC. The program covers key structural aircraft modification methods to support the B737-800 Passenger to Freighter Conversion program, with a focus on drawing interpretation, part layout, fitting, drilling, and installation. Once the training module is completed, the Structural Fitter will begin working on an active aircraft conversion in one of KF’s hangars alongside skilled AME’s and under the guidance of a crew chief and project supervisor.
This role provides an excellent primer for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Structures program at Okanagan College, graduates from which can become eligible for their Transport Canada License.

Starting Salary/Wage: $19.26 / hour with increases every 6 months. Can earn up to $33.98 when certified.
